The 450 Gallon Tree Tub is 70" in Diameter and 30" High.
Tree, Plant & Vegetable Tubs are designed to provide an environment for flowers, shrubs, ornamentals or small trees to thrive indoors or where there is not room to put them in the ground.
For small trees and ornamentals our tree tubs provide an ideal location for monitoring and developing growth. We suggest you put a layer of stones on the bottom and then fill the planter with sandy soil, or top fill mixed with any vermiculite substance. The roots will have adequate room to spread and the root ball will be well protected both on the top and the bottom. Our customers have used the tree tubs both indoors and out, and the tubs can easily be moved from one venue to another. Sensitive ornamentals can be grown outside and then brought in when the weather turns cold.
Our planters are great if you would like to have a small garden but have no room in your yard or you have disagreeable soil. One of our customers has a yard that did not get a lot of sunlight. He put 6 of our planters on his flat roof and then planted tomatoes. They thrived in the sunlight (and heat) and he was able to have fresh tomatoes. The planters are ideal for annuals. When the weather turns cold you do not need to drag the planters inside, the depth of the planter provides adequate protection for the bulbs and the planter can stay out all winter.
Our planters are constructed of medium density linear polyethylene. All of them have UV inhibitors of outdoor use and prolonged life expectancy. The tanks are nestable which aids in reducing shipping costs. The smooth inner surface makes them easy to clean and their lightweight allows for quick set up and relocation. Standard colors are red, white, blue, charcoal, sand, emerald and ice.
